Skyler Glaser is a Costume Designer located in Brooklyn, NY. Proficient in various arts and crafts techniques, sewing construction, pattern making, and administrative work, she mainly works in assisting and design. Graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Theatre with a Concentration in Costume Design and a minor in Sociology, in May 2020 and already in the 5+ years she has been designing for stage and screen, she has already been adjudicated by Gregg Barnes at the Southeastern Theatre Conference and won Honorable Mention for Best Costume Design for Eclipsed (2020), and Best Costume Design for Ada and the Engine for VCU’s Student Alliance Laboratory Theatre. She is currently designing for Nashville Repertory Theatre’s Rent (opening in September 2022) , and assistant designing for Once upon a Korean Time with Ma-Yi Theater Company (opening August 2022).
